About the Role:

Paul Davis Restoration of Central CT is looking for a Mitigation Project Manager who can lead a team, manage multiple projects, and help property owners navigate the aftermath of water, fire, mold, and other property damage.

You will oversee mitigation projects from the initial response through completion, taking ownership of scheduling, crew coordination, documentation, job costs, quality, and customer communication. This role requires someone who can make sound decisions, solve problems, and keep both customers and team members informed.

The right candidate combines technical knowledge with strong leadership and genuine care for people. You take pride in delivering what you promise, developing your team, and completing work safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Why Join Our Team?

We are growing locally and offer opportunities for people who want meaningful work and room to develop their careers. You will have the opportunity to strengthen your technical and leadership skills while helping customers through a difficult time.

We offer health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and performance-based bonus opportunities. Our development opportunities include paid training, industry certifications, Paul Davis University, monthly cross-training, and leadership development. We also offer scheduling flexibility to help accommodate personal needs while maintaining full-time responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • You have proven leadership experience and the ability to manage, motivate, coach, and develop a team while balancing multiple projects and priorities.
  • You have strong knowledge of water mitigation, structural drying, mold remediation, emergency services, and restoration industry standards. Three to five years of experience in mitigation, restoration, construction, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
  • You communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, subcontractors, and coworkers, and bring strong organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • You are comfortable using technology for project documentation, communication, scheduling, and job management. IICRC certifications, including Water Restoration Technician (WRT), are preferred.
  • You hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and can work nights, weekends, and overtime and participate in an on-call schedule when needed.
  • You are committed to customer service, continuous learning, and helping your team improve.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage mitigation projects from initial response through completion, ensuring work meets the established scope, Paul Davis standards, and industry requirements. Coordinate crews performing water mitigation, structural drying, tarping, board-up, mold remediation, environmental services, and other emergency restoration work.
  • Plan staffing, equipment, resources, and schedules so crews are prepared to work safely and efficiently. Lead daily team huddles to review assignments, priorities, and safety considerations.
  • Monitor project progress, job costs, and overall performance to keep work on schedule and within budget. Conduct job-site inspections and quality-control checks, identify problems early, and take action to resolve them.
  • Serve as a primary customer contact throughout the mitigation process. Meet with customers, adjusters, property managers, and other stakeholders as needed, address concerns promptly, and communicate scope changes or additional work to the appropriate parties.
  • Ensure photos, moisture readings, equipment records, and other required documentation are accurate, complete, and submitted on time. Coordinate with estimators, administrative staff, and reconstruction personnel to support clear communication and smooth project handoffs.
  • Coach and support Mitigation Technicians and Senior Mitigation Technicians, holding the team accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and customer service. Maintain clean, professional job sites and ensure vehicles, equipment, and supplies are organized, maintained, and ready for deployment.
  • Represent Paul Davis professionally, remain accessible by phone, and participate in the required on-call schedule.
