
Our customer is the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and acts as the provider of GIG/Defense Information System Network (DISN) services to its customers, the department of Defense (DoD) and national security organizations. This position directly supports the DISA-provided GIG capabilities and services in the 24x7 DISA Global Field Command (DGFC).

This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Leidos employees and sub-contractors. Responsible for defining the team’s direction and ensure that individual and team goals align with the organization and customer mission.
Manage daily contractor operations, serving as the focal point for contractor assigned tasks, responsible for addressing and mediating performance issues.
Foster an environment of employee growth and development, promoting continuous learning and provide opportunities for skill enhancement.
Responsible for team staffing activities, as well as addressing performance concerns, resolving disputes or disagreements within the team.
Provide guidance, support, and resources to help team members succeed and feel motivated to contribute their best work.
Ensure MD OSC Technicians adherence to MDA source documentation, DOD polices, DISA circulars, local TTPs, and watch officer documentation.
Partner with engineering team to provide specifications for network architecture, evaluating and integrating new technologies to enhance current capabilities, and performing needs assessments.
Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and system architectures to develop solutions for network outages or other systems issues.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex network problems.
Interacts with customer and/or senior leadership regarding network engineering, technical considerations, and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
Work with DoD SATCOM Gateway facilities and deployed operators to troubleshoot and resolve SONET, IP and SATCOM network issues.
Provide SONET/SDH/IP network support to include configuration of switches, routers, multiplexers, media converters, and modems.
Utilization of diagrams, maps, cut sheets, and TSOs/SAAs/GAAs as source documentation for network configuration.
Utilize ticketing applications to aid in customer problem tracking and resolution in all aspects of the network integral to our customer's communications.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. (Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.)
Hold DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) prior to start date.
Able to work in a 24x7 shift work environment.
Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Possess deep understanding of both Transport and IP network topologies.
Prior Management experience in IT or Operations
Preferred Qualifications:
Tech control facility or cyber transport experience
Circuit actions and vendor experience
IP architecture experience
Telco NOC, inside or outside plant experience.
Experience with MS Office suite, i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, TEAMs
Experience with one or more of the following: alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, performance management, change management.

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
