Program Summary
The MISS program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at supporting the US Department of State’s operations in Iraq. In addition to providing ongoing base operations and Life Support Services, KBR will provide differentiated advisory and consultancy capabilities to the Iraqi Government with a focus on creating an effective program environment to support delivery of strategic economic planning, strategy development, feasibility studies, technicalreviewsand large-scale project management. Under thiscontractKBR will provide facility maintenance, procurement, critical supply functions, along withfood service, base camp operations, renovations, construction, and medical services.
The Project Manager shall have the authority tocommitthe Contractor’s financial resources, and act as the single point of contact with the USG, asrequiredto meet the overall requirements of the task orderThe duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible formaintaininga safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
Comply withall Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goalsProvide information andnse
materials to these divisions as necessary to ensureadequate andlegal documentation.
Responsible for managing,monitoringand tracking services.
Acts as the Contractor’s representative ensuring that all task order requirements are met.
Responsible forallocatingand managing staff resources according to changing needs
Identifyproblem areas and respond to mission requirements to perform task order requirements.
Plan and manage projects.
Control resources;monitorstaffproficiencyand qualifications;monitorthe locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from staff and USG representatives.
Resolve issues.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum Acceptable Experience Level Fifteen(15) years support services and/or facilities management experience with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing such services to large facilities or operations.
Education ABachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Facilities,Contractsor related field, or at least ten (10) years of direct experience in project management in lieu of formal education.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid driver’s license from home of record.
Security Vetting Alreadypossessa U.S. Government (USG) issued Secret security clearance or be able obtain a favorable USG Secret clearance prior to being hired isrequiredfor the positionMustmaintaineligibility at the required clearance level for the duration of the task order.
Language Skills Satisfactory Englishproficiencyto meet job requirements.
Citizenship U.S. citizenship isrequired
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM), or similar certification.
Relevant overseas facilities management experience.
Previousinternational experience andpreviouswork experience in harsh environmental conditions.
Experience working with Contractor.
