Job Opening - Construction Inspector Journeyman

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Construction Inspector Journeyman: $65,000 USD

Must be a Japanese citizen, SOFA military dependent, or resident with visa status that allows work in Japan.

Support the on-site engineering team with a wide variety of military facility requirements at Misawa Air Base, Japan. Conduct inspections and evaluate construction projects to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards. Understand construction methods, materials, and safety practices. Ensure construction contractor compliance with approved plans and specifications for various construction contracts. Inspect sites, review construction plans, and identify deficiencies or deviations from standards. Document inspection findings, issue reports, and communicate with contractors and project stakeholders to address any non-compliance issues.

在日米軍三沢基地における多様な施設要件に対応するオンサイトのエンジニアリングチームを支援します。建設プロジェクトを検査し、関連する法規、規制、業界基準への適合性を評価します。建設工法、資材、安全基準について十分な理解が必要です。複数の建設契約において、承認済みの図面や仕様書に対する施工業者の遵守状況を確認します。施工現場の確認、建設図面のレビュー、不備や基準からの逸脱を特定します。検査結果を文書化し、報告書を作成し、施工業者およびプロジェクト関係者と連携して不適合事項を是正します。
