Job description Job Title INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT

MIS MANAGER M/F Contract Type PERMANENT Job Location Africa, Tanzania, United Republic of, DAR ES SALAAM Education LevelMaster or equivalent Working Hours Full time Mission Description Lead and continuously improve the Information Technology function across AGL Tanzania and designated local entities by ensuring reliable, secure, cost-effective and business-aligned IT services. The role is responsible for infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, business continuity, vendor management and user support, while ensuring compliance with Group IT standards and applicable local requirements. Profile Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the annual IT roadmap aligned with AGL Tanzania business priorities and Group IT strategy
• Ensure compliance with Group cybersecurity standards, IT policies and delegated authorities.
• Prepare concise quarterly IT performance, risk and investment updates
• Ensure availability, reliability and performance of IT infrastructure and business-critical systems.
• Manage networks, internet connectivity, servers, cloud platforms, backups and telecommunications
• Support compliance with data privacy, information security and Group cybersecurity requirements
• Establish and monitor service levels for IT support.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents, requests and business-critical disruptions.
• Continuously improve the end-user experience through clear support processes and communication
• Lead implementation of business applications and approved IT projects
• Manage relationships with telecommunications providers, software vendors, hardware suppliers and IT service partners
• Build a responsive, customer-focused and service-oriented IT culture.
• Facilitate collaboration between business teams, local IT, Regional IT and Group IT
• Prioritize IT support and project resources according to business criticality

Education & Experience:

• Postgraduate degree in related field including Computer Science, Engineering will be an advantage
• More than 10 years' experience in related field with at least 5 years at Management Level

Certifications:

Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, PMP or equivalent are advantageous
