This is not a high-pressure, production-driven environment. The focus is on good medicine, strong client relationships, and giving veterinarians the freedom to make thoughtful recommendations based on the patient and the person in front of them.
The team is experienced, collaborative, and down-to-earth, with very little hierarchy, plenty of laughter, and genuine respect for everyone’s role in the practice.

The practice is strictly outpatient with no boarding, grooming, or overnight hospitalization, helping keep the workday focused and manageable. The schedule can also be shaped around the right veterinarian rather than forcing someone into a rigid template.
Northern Minnesota offers the lakes, forests, trails, fishing, boating, hiking, and winter recreation people travel here to enjoy, while Bemidji still provides the conveniences of a regional hub with healthcare, shopping, dining, and a university community.
Most importantly, this is a role designed to leave room for a life outside of work.
