📍 Edmonton, AB | 🕒 7x7 Rotation | 💼 Full-Time, Permanent

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working with advanced, real-world technology? We’re looking for a Mining Technology Support Advisor to support and optimize our industry-leading MineStar technology suite.

👉 Important: This is NOT a traditional IT support role.
This position is focused on mining technology systems, fleet management solutions, and operational technologies that directly impact performance in active mining environments—such as Caterpillar MineStar™ Fleet, Terrain, Command (autonomous haulage), Detect (collision avoidance), and Health equipment monitoring systems, as well as related communication, GPS, and onboard mining technologies used across Finning-supported sites.

⏱️ Schedule
12-hour shifts on a 7x7 rotation (3-rotations of day shift and 1-rotation of night shift)

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the go-to technical expert for MineStar solutions

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and operational technology issues

  • Support remote deployments, upgrades, and integrations

  • Deliver training to customers and internal teams

  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes

âś… What You Bring

  • Diploma in a technical/engineering field

  • Experience with IT systems, databases, or radio communications

  • Exposure to mining tech (MineStar, Wenco, Modular) is an asset

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills

  • Knowledge of mining operations, GPS, and equipment systems
