The listed base salary is just one component of our total rewards package, and performance-based or discretionary bonuses may be available.

A Site Performance Manager (SPM) assists the customer and becomes a valued partner. A SPM knows the customer’s end-to-end business, they become a trusted advisor on machine, parts and site performance.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Interact in various areas of the mine site’s daily operations
• Observe and Advise on Machine Application, Maintenance & Repair, Safety, and customer-dealer relationship utilizing technical and soft skills to identify, prioritize, and coordinate improvement opportunities.
• Must utilize the various technical skills available to them to ensure the key drivers for improvement opportunities are identified and prioritized.
• Help develop improvement plans, which go beyond identifying the opportunity, yet are also inclusive of the range of details required to execute, manage and sustain changes
• Communicate the requirements, gain buy in, and understand when and where additional resources need to be employed from the available areas within Toromont

Must-haves for this role:

• Thorough knowledge of Cat products and product applications, mining equipment management, product problem management, and technical product expertise are required
• Ability to build inclusive relationships between customers, Toromont and with Caterpillar
• Strong communication skills and the understanding and knowledge to communicate to the right people and stakeholders at the right level when needed
• Good human relations skills are required to develop and foster a collaborative/cooperative work relationship
• Must also work and set priorities for themselves and for the work team without day-to-day direct supervision
