Senior Consultant (Mining Engineering)
SRK Consulting is an international, independent, employee-owned practice providing integrated consulting services to the resources sector. Our capability spans mining, geotechnical engineering, geology, resource estimation, exploration, tailings, heap leach and waste management.
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Mining Engineer with a strong open pit mine planning background, combining operational and consulting or study experience. Candidates with project management capability and exposure to a diverse range of commodities are preferred.
SRK's mine planning service offering spans operational support to mining clients, technical studies from scoping through to feasibility, and Ore Reserve estimation and public reporting. You can expect to work across several projects a year, spanning different commodities, mining methods and jurisdictions.
You will have the opportunity to develop both your technical skills and your professional network. As you build your experience, the path opens toward Competent Person and Qualified Person sign-off authority, and toward independent technical review and due diligence work for lenders, investors and boards.
