  • Analyse dispatch performance trends and recommend improvements to truck-excavator matching, route selection, dump strategy, crusher feed, shift line-up, and equipment deployment.
  • Work with Mine Planning and Operations teams to improve plan execution, reduce unplanned delays, and optimise haulage efficiency.
  • Support daily production reviews by preparing accurate dispatch summaries, exception reports, delay analysis, and performance commentary.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce fuel burn, minimise idle time, improve payload compliance, and increase effective operating time.

5. Team Leadership and Development

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, mentoring, and technical support to dispatch personnel.
  • Coordinate shift handovers to ensure continuity of information, priorities, equipment status, safety issues, and unresolved operational matters.
  • Support training and competency development for new and existing dispatchers.
  • Promote teamwork between dispatch, operations, maintenance, technical services, and processing teams.
  • Lead by example in communication discipline, attention to detail, accountability, and professional control room behaviour.
