
NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn, in New York City, is actively recruiting a full-time Board-Certified/Board-Eligible minimally invasive general surgeon to join our expanding team. Both new fellowship graduates and experienced surgeons are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will have advanced training in laparoscopic and robotic surgery with a focus on foregut, bariatrics and or abdominal wall reconstructionCandidates should becommitted to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Faculty members are expected to support the tripartite mission of the Department of Surgery and NYU Grossman School of Medicine: clinical excellence, education, and research Responsibilities include active participation in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as engagement in clinical, outcomes, or health services research.
At NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn, our Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) is a high-performing, patient-centered program with full 3-year accreditation, reflecting our commitment to national standards for safety and quality.
The selected candidate will join a collaborative team of surgeons, advanced practice providers, dietitians, and support staff dedicated to optimizing outcomes and expanding access to care within the Brooklyn community.

Faculty appointment will be at a rank commensurate with experience within NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery (American Board of Surgery)
Fellowship training in Bariatric Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, or Abdominal Wall Reconstruction
Strong laparoscopic and robotic surgical skillsrequired
Eligibility for New York State medical licensure
Commitment to academic surgery, including teaching and research
