The Minibar Attendant plays a key role in delivering an exceptional in-room guest experience by maintaining fully stocked, clean, and inviting honor bars throughout the hotel. This position ensures accurate inventory control, revenue capture, product freshness, and the highest standards of cleanliness and professionalism in a luxury hospitality environment.

- - - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- -
- - - - Stock, replenish, inspect, and service in-room minibars daily according to hotel standards and par levels.
- - - - Perform accurate daily audits of minibar consumption and post charges promptly and correctly in the hotel’s POS system.
- - - - Ensure all minibar products are within expiry dates, properly rotated using the FIFO method, and remove/dispose of expired or damaged items following proper procedures.
- - - - Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of minibars, refrigerators, carts, and storage areas; defrost, sanitize, and clean fridges daily.
- - - - Organize and fully restock minibar carts and storerooms at the end of each shift.
- - - - Deliver outstanding guest service with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail at all times.
- - - - Handle guest inquiries, disputes, and special requests professionally and follow up as needed.
- - - - Report any maintenance issues, damages, guest concerns, or inventory shortages to management immediately.
- - - - Communicate effectively with Purchasing, F&B Management, and other departments regarding product orders and par levels.
- - - - Complete all required daily worksheets, inventory reports, and paperwork accurately and on time.
- - - - Follow all safety, sanitation, hygiene, and standard operating procedures, including current health department guidelines.
- - - - Remove minibars from rooms when directed by management.
- - - - Use and maintain hotel-provided communication devices responsibly

Qualifications

- - - EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

- - - - High school diploma or equivalent
- - - - Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel operations, minibar, housekeeping, or Food & Beverage
- - - - Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays

- - - Preferred:

- - - - Previous luxury or upscale hotel experience
- - - - Food Safety Certification (ServSafe Food Handler or equivalent)
- - - - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
