Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Superintendent, the successful candidate will lead maintenance activities for the Caterpillar 795F and 798 haul truck fleet while ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations.
Oversee all planned and corrective maintenance activities for the Caterpillar 795F and 798 haul truck fleet;
Lead, mentor, and develop Heavy Equipment Technicians, Apprentices, and Lead Hands to achieve maintenance and safety targets;
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems;
Coordinate maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability, reliability, and fleet performance;
Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance with OEM specifications and site procedures;
Collaborate with Planning, Reliability, and Operations teams to optimize maintenance strategies and minimize downtime.
Ontario Provincial or Interprovincial (Red Seal) Heavy Equipment Technician certification is preferred;
Minimum 10 years of experience maintaining large mobile mining equipment in an open pit mining environment;
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience leading maintenance teams;
Extensive experience with Caterpillar 795F and 798 haul trucks;
Experience with electric drive haul truck systems would be considered a strong asset;
Experience with SAP and/or JDE maintenance management systems;
Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.

Compensation Statement
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
Minimum Salary :122,000CADMaximum Salary :161,000CAD
