As our next Machine Builder, you’ll be at the forefront of building, assembling, and commissioning custom automation equipment. What You’ll Be Doing:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of materials
Assemble and fit complex parts and sub‑assemblies for custom automation equipment
Integrate pneumatic and hydraulic systems into machinery
Fabricate and machine basic components as required
Conduct testing and perform adjustments to ensure equipment meets specifications
Support machine debug, integration, and commissioning activities
Coordinate with electricians and PLC programmers during machine builds
Train customers, maintenance, and operators on equipment and safety procedures
Verify part conformance using precision measuring instruments
Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements for manufacturability
Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain organized work areas
What We’re Looking For:
Diploma or equivalent technical training or relevant experience
5+ years of experience in automation, machine building, or millwright work
Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and blueprint reading
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
Bonus Points If You Have:
Machining experience
Experience with rigging and lifting techniques
Exposure to full machine build and commissioning environments
Familiarity with MS Office tools
