About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced Millwright with a passion for industrial machinery, mechanical engineering and technical problem-solving?

We are looking for skilled Millwright Engineers to join an established industrial engineering environment in the Netherlands. This is an excellent opportunity for South African candidates looking to take their technical careers international, with the opportunity to relocate to the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, dismantle and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective mechanical maintenance.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve mechanical faults and breakdowns.
• Repair, replace and adjust mechanical components.
• Align and position machinery and equipment.
• Implement modifications and technical improvements to existing installations.
• Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
• Work independently and collaboratively across various industrial projects.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Millwright, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, machinery installation or mechanical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial machinery.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical breakdowns.
• Valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid Code B driving licence.
• Good command of English.
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands if currently based in South Africa.

Salary & Placement Details

• €4,300 – €4,750 gross per month.
• Secondment arrangement through Careerscout.
• Candidates may currently reside in South Africa or the Netherlands.
• Relocation opportunity for South African-based candidates.
