Job Location: SHAWNEE, OK 74804SCOPE:
Under the direction of the supervisor, workers perform production, maintenance or janitorial duties as assigned to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, yield and Cost goals.  Millwrights are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in various settings, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
- Uses appropriate safety measures
- Uses appropriate measurement equipment and techniques as trained
- Records and maintains documentation and data as required.
- Follows applicable work instructions.
- Use good housekeeping skills to maintain the work area.
- Follows directions and instructions of all supervisory personnel.
- Maintains good relations with co-workers, management and visitors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION: Maintain all plant mechanical equipment.
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTION: Installation and modification of new or old equipment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Maintain and repair all mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Installation of new or modified equipment.
- Trouble-shoot all mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Maintain plant facilities as to safety requirements.
- Perform mechanical preventive maintenance of all equipment as assigned.
- Maintain parts supply for use in equipment.
- Assist other trades in repairing, installing and trouble-shooting plant equipment.
- Be able to do needed construction and pipe-fitting-welding.
- Keep assigned machinery and work area neat, clean and orderly. Follow safety and shop rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements: Be able to read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic circuits. Be able to do pipefitting and layout work along with light construction and welding.
- Working conditions: Machinery pits, high conveyor work. Intense heat in casting area.
