Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will participate in working with a growing and highly motivated team in a fast-paced environment.

BIG RESPONSABILITIES

• Flexible Schedule-option of working 4 on 4 off or 7 on 7 off

• Committed to a top performance in a safe work environment

• Carrying out duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor

• Completing scheduled work and Preventive Maintenance work (PM) work

• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment problems

• Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation

• Repairing or replacing chains; belt conveyors; gear boxes/drive chains; hydraulic & pneumatics; welding/cutting and using power tools

• Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned pertaining to the job

REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSETS - TECHNICAL KNOLEDGE AND GENERIC SKILLS

• High School diploma (grade 12) or equivalent

• Good safety and attendance record

• Detail oriented with the ability to follow exact procedures

• Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset

• Flexibility to meet changing needs within the business
