About the role

Lifeblood Milk is seeking a Milk Technician to support the safe, timely manufacture and distribution of Pasteurised Donor Human Milk (PDHM). This hands-on role is essential to ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment.

As a Milk Technician you will be responsible for performing core manufacturing activities within the Lifeblood Milk team including receipting, batching, processing, and labelling pasteurised donor human milk while maintaining commitment to quality and safety requirements.

A day in the role will see you:

  • Manufacture PDHM in line with Food Safety, cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform complex production tasks, including equipment setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance
  • Accurately complete production records and documentation
  • Monitor stock levels and apply FIFO principles
  • Identify and escalate risks or process deviations
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to meet production timelines
  • Contribute to quality, continuous improvement, and research activities

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Food Safety principles
  • Experience in food handling or manufacturing would be highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
  • Ability to follow procedures with a high level of attention to detail
  • Qualification in Food Safety & understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work afternoon shifts

This is a permanent full-time opportunity Monday to Friday between 8AM to 4:00PM; however later start around 12 noon could be a possibiity on occassional basis.
