Position Military Training Expert

Tasks:

• Conducting training needs analyses
• Developing training programmes, implementing them and continuously optimising them as part of client projects
• Delivering workshops and advising clients, project teams and managers on all aspects of training, as well as HR and organisational development
• Delivering train-the-trainer courses, both in-house and at client sites
• Supporting project teams in the creation and preparation of (digital) training materials
• Collaborating with proposal teams on matters relating to training organisation and design
• Contributing to the product line, providing input on product features and roadmaps based on experience gained from training activities
• Actively monitoring new technologies and their application in training, as well as future training concepts
• Selecting, where necessary, qualifying and managing internal and external trainers or training institutes
• Coordinating and implementing the training strategy in an international context
• Aligning training with national or international standards and certifications
• Supporting the project team in usability and customer satisfaction studies
• Continuous evaluation and monitoring of the effectiveness and quality of implemented training measures
• Collaborating on software development for new or modified systems, and liaising with the development team to support TMD

Requirements:

• Practical knowledge of military training, as well as qualifications comparable to a master craftsman's certificate, a technician's qualification or a bachelor's degree, covering military training resources, training concepts, training doctrines and the preparation of training plans and training materials
• Many years' experience as a military instructor; experience in the design, coordination and delivery of training activities, including the management of internal or external trainers
• Good written and spoken English and German
• Knowledge and experience in the field of systematic staff development planning in a technical environment would be desirable
• Excellent advisory and methodological skills
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills
• Intercultural skills and experience, e.g. including from operational experience, would be desirable
• Strong focus on contribution and results to achieve product and project objectives
• Good personal time and process management
• Willingness to travel on business
