As a valued member of BT's Network Service division, you will be part of the Migration Control Centre (MCC), a highly skilled team responsible for delivering critical network migrations, upgrades, and technology integrations across the BT estate.
This is a business-critical role where you will plan and execute complex network changes during night-time maintenance windows, including the introduction of new technologies, software upgrades, service migrations and infrastructure transformations. These activities often involve the temporary withdrawal of live services, making a Right First-Time approach essential. You will be accountable for ensuring services are restored successfully and in an improved state by following strict, proven processes and robust risk controls.
Working on some of the UK's most important network programmes, including Nationwide Critical Infrastructure projects, you will help maintain and evolve the networks that keep businesses, emergency services, and communities connected and protected.
Whether operating within Network Infrastructure or Service Migrations, you will be at the forefront of BT's largest and most complex network changes. The MCC delivers change at a scale and level of risk unmatched elsewhere in the organisation, demanding strong technical expertise, sound decision-making, and a solid understanding of network change management and risk mitigation.
This role is an in office at BT's Birmingam office for all 4 night shifts during Monday to Thursday (choice of shifts are 9pm – 6pm or 10pm – 7am)
