Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment to weld and fabricate metal parts and structures.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication plans to complete welding and assembly tasks accurately.
• Perform cutting, grinding, and fitting of parts prior to welding for proper assembly.
• Inspect welds and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to streamline processes and solve fabrication challenges.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Document welding and fabrication activities, including materials used and any issues encountered.
• Stay updated through ongoing training on welding techniques and fabrication advancements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in MIG welding and fabrication is preferred.
• Proven experience as a MIG Welder Fabricator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of MIG welding techniques as well as fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans accurately.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, durable welds and fabricated products.
• Physical stamina to carry out welding and fabrication tasks efficiently.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures within the welding and fabrication environment.
