APX is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented MIG Welder to support our fabrication shop operations. This role is responsible for welding and assembling metal components based on specifications and production needs. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, consistent in quality, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to execute welding tasks accurately.
  • Perform MIG welding, primarily on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel sheet metal components.
  • Utilize grinders to smooth welds and remove excess material or spatter, ensuring precision and quality.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in MIG welding.
  • Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
  • Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing setting.
