Someone who is energetic, positive, confident, has respect for others, an empathetic manner and is keen to make a difference in the lives of our tangata and their extended whanau. You are open to working within a Kaupapa Māori framework and have a good understanding of culturally appropriate delivery of mental health services. As a registered health professional, you will have strong professional ethics and a holistic, client-centred, and rights-based practice approach.
He kōrero mō tetūranga | The Role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your professional experience to deliver comprehensive clinical assessments and intervention plans for tamariki. You will apply a holistic nursing approach, engaging effectively with tamariki and their whānau to support and restore overall wellbeing. You will provide health promotion, education, and early intervention through regular visits, including growth and development assessments. You will act as a key liaison point for clinical and community services, ensuring coordinated care and appropriate referrals where required.
