This position is responsible for evaluating existing and future oil, SWD and plant processes and pipeline hydraulics, optimizing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the transportation and production processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities
Ensure successful execution of oil, gas, and water projects including facilities, pipelines, and plant modifications.
Stay abreast and understand the Regulatory Process in Texas and New Mexico.
Responsible for pipeline design (oil/gas/water) for sizes between 4” – 20” including stress calculations and testing procedures.
Prepare and/or review deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, Line Lists, datasheets, design calculations, and apply professional engineering stamp as required.
Work with multiple vendors to maintain project timeline and budget within AFE.
Work with Land Management and field personnel to select pipeline routes as required.
Work with field personnel to trouble-shoot and optimize operations and plan system maintenance.
Education and Experience
Must have recent gas processing experience with small to mid-sized cryogenic processing plant projects and thorough knowledge of pipeline design and hydraulics or other relevant Midstream experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience, 10 years’ experience preferred.
Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Process experience to include: compression & dehydration, refrigeration & turbo-expander liquids recovery, sour gas treating-amine, acid gas injection, and salt-water disposal.
Thorough understanding of corrosion mitigation on steel pipelines, including coatings and cathodic protection.
Experience in project planning & program management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team.
Experience executing several small to medium sized projects running concurrently.
Ability to handle stress and work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Self-starter and proactive with strong organizational skills.
Must be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, set realistic goals, and complete commitment on schedule.
