1Performs a wide variety of financial analyses to provide company management with interpretive and predictive financial information that is used to make business performance assessments and capital investment/divestment decisions. Develops cross-functional partnerships to identify strategic and commercial opportunities and to resolve performance issues.

Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevron’s practices.

CREG team, located in Buenos Aires, provides support to Chevron Renewable Energy Group operations by overseeing the accounting behind commercialization and logistics for renewable products from origination sources (Production Plants) to destination sources (3rd Party terminals) as well as accounting for all product traded with Intracompany / third party customers partnering in the Renewable fuels industry. Team tasks are typically distributed by area.

Building a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end processes in scope (from operations through accounting) will be key to ensure intern success in role.

In this position, Analyst will have the opportunity to: 

• Collaboratively work -on a daily basis- with CREG front office personnel, including Traders, Schedulers and Operations’ specialists, as well as Houston Finance office. 

• Walk through a learning journey about the uniqueness of renewable energy business, including industry standards and products’ flow through diverse supply systems and modes of transport. 

• Exercise/Improve communication and digital skills to meet customers’ high expectations 

• Strive to deliver exceeding results in a very dynamic business, producing timely value-adding data to feed the Business’ decision-making process.
