As a Junior Android SDK Engineer, you will begin your career in mobile advertising technology, contributing to SDKs that help gaming and app developers monetize their applications through advertising revenue. You will work alongside experienced engineers who will mentor you as you develop expertise in SDK architecture, performance optimization, and the mobile advertising ecosystem.

You will be part of our Android efforts and will work closely with our iOS development team, QA team, and senior engineers who will guide your professional growth.


Key Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written — essential for daily collaboration with our international team across USA, Poland, and Ukraine
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate coding workflows, learning, and problem-solving
  • 7+ years of commercial or substantial personal project experience with mobile development
  • 4+ years of commercial or substantial personal project experience with Android development
  • SDK development experience
  • Foundational knowledge of Kotlin and Java
  • Exposure to MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture patterns
  • Understanding of core Android concepts:
    - Activities, Fragments, Services
    - Application lifecycle and state management
    - UI development (XML layouts, Jetpack Compose basics)
    - Concurrency
    - Networking libraries (Retrofit, OkHttp)
  • Familiarity with Android Studio and Gradle build system
  • Best software testing practices
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data handling
  • Basic knowledge of iOS/Swift development
  • Experience with Git version control

Nice-to-Have:

  • Published apps on Google Play Store
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions or CI/CD concepts


Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and contribute to our advertising-focused SDKs under the guidance of Staff level engineers
  • Assist in building and maintaining test apps used by developers and QA to validate SDKs
  • Continuously learn and improve Claude Code workflows to enhance code quality, productivity, and efficiency in Android SDK development
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following team standards
  • Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and provide peer feedback
  • Help investigate and debug creative rendering issues with support from the team
  • Collaborate with Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and senior developers on feature implementation
  • Write and maintain unit tests for SDK components
  • Contribute to technical documentation for SDK integration
  • Stay updated with Android development trends and share learnings with the team
