This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a MidLevel Data Engineer based in Brazil.
This is an opportunity to build and evolve data solutions that support large-scale digital transformation initiatives for global clients.
You’ll work hands-on with data pipelines, ingestion, transformation, and processing, turning diverse data sources into reliable, usable assets.
The role combines strong technical execution with modern engineering practices, including Python, SQL, Git, and CI/CD.
You’ll collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and international stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective solutions.
There is also room to work with modern cloud and data technologies such as Azure, Databricks, and PySpark.
The environment emphasizes technical growth, continuous improvement, collaboration, and meaningful business outcomes.
This remote position is well suited to a mid-level engineer who enjoys solving complex data challenges in a global, multicultural setting.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines supporting data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
- Build, optimize, and maintain data solutions using Python and SQL
- Work with multiple data sources to transform, clean, and prepare data for downstream consumption.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data pipelines to enhance reliability and performance.
- Apply Git, GitHub, and CI/CD practices across development and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Contribute to improvements in data quality, performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in the adoption of modern data engineering practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Professional experience as a Data Engineer, Data Developer, or in a comparable data-focused position
- Strong hands-on experience with Python
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with SQL
- Proven experience developing and maintaining data pipelines
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD practices
- Advanced/Fluent English (C1 or higher), with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings, written exchanges, and discussions with international stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a global and multicultural environment
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering approaches is advantageous.
- Experience with Azure, Databricks, and/or PySpark is considered a plus.
