We are looking for a Middleware Operations Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting critical data platforms in a production environment. This role focuses on ensuring the stability and performance of Kafka and Qlik Replicate platforms, contributing to operational excellence and incident resolution within a demanding and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of Kafka and Qlik Replicate platforms
  • Monitor production environments and ensure system availability and performance
  • Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis
  • Handle service requests, standard changes, and operational tasks
  • Work within an L2 support model with a high level of autonomy
  • Analyze logs and use monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues
  • Maintain operational documentation and follow best practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams, ensuring clear communication and quality handovers
  • Contribute to strengthening Qlik operational capabilities and Kafka production support
  • Gradually develop understanding of Cloudera platform dependencies

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in production support, middleware operations, or platform operations
  • Experience in banking or other critical production environments
  • Proven experience with Kafka administration or support
  • Hands-on experience with Qlik Replicate or similar CDC/replication tools
  • Good understanding of incident management, monitoring, and operational procedures
  • Knowledge of Linux systems and log analysis
  • Experience working in L2 support environments with autonomy

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Cloudera environments
  • Knowledge of database replication concepts

Additional Requirements

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with ticketing and incident management tools
  • Proficiency in English (C1 mandatory)
  • Basic proficiency in French (A1 mandatory)
