Qualifications:(1 of the following) 60 College Hours, Passing Score of Paraprofessional Assessment, 20 HR Substitute Certificate Course Experience:Prefer experience in working with disabled populations. Primary Responsibilities:To assist the special services teacher to whom assigned and to work with students assigned to that teacher.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The position may include (but is not limited to): lifting students, caring for personal needs, and other duties as assigned by the administrator/coordinator.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
A paraprofessional is employed for 7 hours a day for the 175 days students are in session. Compensation is according to the salary schedule set for non certified employees as established annually by the Board of Education. All other employee benefits are according to the total FTE of employment for the individual.
EVALUATION
Performance of this position will be evaluated according to board policies.
