Middle School Language Arts Teacher - Replacement
Position available: Thompson Middle School - 8/27/2026 - 12/31/2026

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Appropriate NJ DOE Instructional Certificate required (ie English, Elementary with Subject Matter Specialization: Language Arts Literacy Grade 5-8)
• Dual certification in Special Education preferred
• Working knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards for English
• High-level skills in the collection of data and anecdotal notes to provide evidence of student growth and to determine specific needs to guide differentiated and targeted instruction to meet the needs of all learners
• Knowledge of research and responsive practices in the English/Language Arts
• Knowledge of Google for Education
• Experience integrating technology to enhance instruction
• Knowledge/evidence of implementation of responsive practices for supporting and inclusive environment and opportunities for students
• Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations

The Middletown Township School District offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Terms of Employment:

• Salary range $60,673 - $87,673
