Residency Requirement:  This position is remote and strongly prefer candidates that reside in Arkansas.

Start Date: School Year 26/27

The remote Instructional Coach, having both content and instructionalexpertiseworks as a colleague with academic administrators, master and/or lead teachers, and teachers to support student learning and teacher practice in a virtual PBL classroom.  This position focuses on individual and group professional learning that expands and refines the understanding about research and databasedeffective instruction for teachers.  The role supports others in building teaching skills,assistsin applying new knowledge and provides ongoing professional development to a school or schools within the region, as a part of a team under the direction of the Instructional Methods Advisor.

This is a REMOTE full-time position.Abilityto work independently, typically 40+ hours per week isrequired Ability tomaintaina professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.

  • Designs andimplementswell organized individual and group learning opportunities for teachers and schoolleaders;

  • Models effective and differentiated instruction forteachers;

  • Creates and delivers ongoing professional development for teachers and schoolleaders;

  • Assiststeachers in aligning their instruction with strong teaching methods, standards, and studentdata;

  • Observes teachers and school leaders and provides meaningful feedback andcoaching;

  • Increases teacher effectiveness by improving the quality of teaching and learning through ongoing support toteachers;

  • Equipsstaff with resources and skills needed to implement effective instructionalpractices;

  • Assiststeachers and school leaders with implementing instructional decisions based on studentdata;

  • Assistsin implementing assessment and grading practices.

  • Provides support to teachers and administrators in analyzing studentdata;

  • Supports the development of high-quality professional learningcommunities;

  • Conduct research around new practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in EducationAND

  • Five (5) years of successful teacher experience OR

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Ability to pass required background check

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in designing and delivering quality professional development for administrators and teachers

  • Previouscoaching or leadership experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculumframeworks,and standards.

  • Experience in research-based instructional practices for learning

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and organization skills

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel,PowerPoint.); Web conferencing tools, Webproficiency

  • Master’s degree in Education, Instruction, or Leadership

  • Interpersonal skills to create collaborative and collegial relationships with teachers and school leaders

  • Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Compensation & Benefits Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

  • We anticipate the salary range to be $45,000-$50,000. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
