
Irving A. Robbins Middle School is seeking an Applied Technology and Engineering Teacher (full time) for a current vacancy. The Middle School is home to approximately 700 students in Grades 7-8.
General Description: The Applied Technology and Engineering Teacher instructs students in practical technical design, problem-solving, and engineering concepts through hands-on, project-based learning.
Qualifications: Must be eligible for State of CT certification in Technology Education (047)
Salary: $56,018 - $114,029 salary based upon education and experience per the union contract.
Benefits include: $2,000 for PhD and EdD. Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, $50,000 Life Insurance, LTD. Paid Time Off includes 5 planned absence days, 15 sick days (up to 15 carryover sick days from another public school district in CT within 100 days of last work day)
