In Bulgaria, we are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of banking applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with API and database testing, a strong understanding of banking processes, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.

This is you

• Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI, REST APIs).

• Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and TestRail

• 2–3 years of experience in the banking domain

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Fluent Bulgarian language skills are mandatory.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience testing financial, payment, or core banking systems.

• Familiarity with security and compliance testing within regulated environments.

• Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks is considered an advantage.

This is your role

• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios for banking applications.

• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI

• Conduct SQL and database testing to validate data integrity, accuracy, and business rules.

• Identify, document, report, and track software defects throughout the development lifecycle.

• Validate application compliance with security, regulatory, and data accuracy requirements.

• Execute regression, integration, and functional testing prior to production releases.

• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
