We are looking for a Middle Office & Business Intelligence Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support the Value Chain team by providing reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence insights that help drive informed business decisions. You will gain valuable exposure to risk management, reporting processes, data governance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic international business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate daily commodity and freight risk position reports.
• Perform reconciliations across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Support the preparation and distribution of consolidated risk position reporting.
• Develop and improve reporting solutions, with a focus on automation and standardisation.
• Monitor and analyse data quality, ensuring robust controls and compliance with internal requirements.
• Prepare legal entity and value chain reporting, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Support pricing activities, including calculations, system uploads, and validation controls.
• Review and monitor mark-to-market calculations, investigating and correcting issues where required.
• Assist with contract monitoring and reconciliation activities.
• Contribute to business intelligence projects by transforming data into meaningful insights for stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and a strong interest in working with data.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Preferred

• Familiarity with SAP, Tableau, Power BI, or other reporting and visualisation tools.
• Previous exposure to data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence projects through academic work or internships.
• Additional European language skills.
