Job Description

Who we are looking for:

The main function of the role is ensuring accurate Intersystem reconciliation of trades and resolution of breaks between Front Office / Middle Office and Back Office Systems.

2. Process trades

3. Confirmation of client trades by phone, fax or electronic mail

4. Interact on a daily basis with prime brokers and client counterparties

5. Resolution of trade breaks with client and counterparties

6. Resolve fail with prime broker and counterparties

7. Process client trademan files via excel

8. Run end of day pricing reports and lock downs

9. Review positions and P&L with client

10. Run end of day management reports

11. During the course of normal day to day operation, responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures

What you will be responsible for:

The responsibilities of this role will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Experienced in middle office function, trade capture & trade amendments in products such as equities, fixed income, futures, foreign exchange, Repo and the related OTC derivative products

  • Experienced in trade affirmation, trade confirmation of generic equities, fixed income, futures, foreign exchange and the related OTC derivative products

  • Conceptual understanding of Trade pricing, NAV calculations & trade reconciliation

  • Interact on a daily basis with clients, prime brokers and client counterparties

  • Review and approve trade amendments

  • Provide input into improvements, efficiencies, reviews and changes to policies and procedures for the team

  • Support planning and management of team training requirements

  • Preform business unit acceptance testing on new system application enhancements to insure the integrity of client data

  • Train new associates & supervise

  • Run end of day management reports

  • Review associates’ end of day process and check lists

  • During the course of normal day-to-day operation, responsible for identifying any unusual or potentially suspicious transaction activity and must report and/or escalate in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2+ years of relevant experience

  • General knowledge of OTC, Repo, Equity, Securities & other derivative products

  • Flexible to work in Night shift

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Superior communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment

  • Excellent team player
