We seek a Middle Android Engineer for robust, scalable fintech apps using Kotlin, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose, and seamless API/state management.

Join our client, one of Argentina's leading private banks, a pioneer in financial services with the most extensive distribution network in the private sector.

This is you

• 3+ years in Android development and proficiency in Kotlin (version 1.9.x+);

• Expertise in design patterns (Factory, Singleton, Repository, Observer, etc.);

• Experience with Jetpack Compose, StateFlow/SharedFlow, coroutines, Hilt, Navigation Component, Retrofit/OkHttp;

• Strong testing skills (JUnit, Compose Testing, Espresso, Mockito/MockK);

• Language: Native Spanish; Intermediate English;

• Location: Buenos Aires (CABA or AMBA).

Nice-to-have skills:

• Fintech or banking app experience;

• Contributions to open-source Android projects.

This is your role

• Architect Android apps using MVVM and Clean Architecture;

• Implement UI with Jetpack Compose, Material 2 theming, ViewModel, State, and MutableState;

• Manage app state reactively with StateFlow, SharedFlow, coroutines, and smooth Compose integration;

• Set up dependency injection via Hilt, handling lifecycles and scopes like Singleton and ViewModelScoped;

• Develop and consume APIs using Retrofit, OkHttp, and parsers like Kotlinx Serialization or Moshi;

• Implement navigation with the Navigation Component, including deep links, safe args, and back stack management;

• Write comprehensive tests;

• Manage versions/dependencies with Gradle, support modularization, and integrate tools like Firebase Crashlytics;

• Collaborate via Git with solid branching practices to maintain code quality.
