The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of Washington State's land use laws, including the Growth Management Act (GMA), Planning Enabling Act, Local Government Project Review Statute, and Shoreline Management Act (SMA). They will also be well-versed in environmental review processes under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA).
The role requires experience representing clients in local and state administrative proceedings and judicial appeals. The candidate should be comfortable appearing before Hearing Examiners, City and County Councils, the Shorelines Hearings Board, Pollution Control Hearings Board, and the Growth Management Hearings Board.
Base Comp is expected to be in the high $100's to low $200's plus significant bonus.
