13,000-16,000 PLN on B2B

Purpose of Role
We are looking for a Mid QA Engineer to join our QA team and support quality across data-driven and web applications.

In this role, you will initially focus on database test analysis and development, working with tests written in Python and validating data using SQL. Over time, the role will also expand into web application testing, including Playwright/TypeScript automation and manual feature testing.

This is a good fit for someone who enjoys technical QA work, understands testing fundamentals, is comfortable working with data, and can use AI tools effectively in day-to-day engineering tasks.

What you will be doing

  • Analysing, maintaining and extending automated database tests written in Python
  • Verifying data correctness using SQL and investigating data-related issues
  • Supporting test coverage for data processing and database-related logic
  • Creating and maintaining automated tests, initially focused on DB tests and later also E2E/UI tests
  • Performing manual feature, regression and UI testing for web applications
  • Supporting cross-browser and cross-application testing
  • Reporting, tracking and verifying bugs in Jira
  • Supporting releases, documentation and QA feedback loops
  • Collaborating closely with developers, QA engineers, product and data-focused teams
  • Using AI tools to support test analysis, test creation, debugging and day-to-day QA work

We are looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in QA, including manual and/or automated testing
    Experience with test automation
  • Good understanding of testing concepts, test design and defect reporting
  • Basic to intermediate Python skills, or willingness to work with Python-based test automation
  • Practical SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
  • Ability to analyse data, investigate inconsistencies and reason about expected results
  • Strong logical and analytical thinking skills
  • Experience with UI and/or web application testing
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • English at B2 level or higher

It would be nice to have

  • Experience with Playwright and TypeScript
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitHub/GitLab pipelines
  • Experience with database testing or data quality testing
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Experience testing AI-powered features or using AI tools in QA workflows
  • Basic understanding of cloud-based or containerised environments
