Are you ready to take on a leadership role where you can drive innovation, optimize processes, and ensure excellence in risk data quality and P&L consistency? Join Axpo Iberia as our Mid Office Services Lead and play a key role in shaping the future of our trading and sales operations.

What you will do:

• Lead and oversee the Risk Data Quality function, focusing on investigating, tracking, and resolving complex issues related to deal representation in Axpo’s systems.

• Define, implement, and operate checks to reduce the number of risk adjustments and improve data quality.

• Propose and drive the implementation of improvements in deal modeling, reporting, and quality assurance throughout the Deal Life Cycle.

• Develop and operate P&L consistency checks related to balancing activities, ensuring accurate reconciliation in central and local balancing books.

• Actively participate in international projects covered by the Mid Office.

• Set performance goals for the team, fostering efficiency and encouraging maximum dedication.

• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective decision-making and collaboration.

What you bring & who you are:

• Education A university degree in STEM, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Leadership skills

  • High ethical standards, creating a safe and inclusive environment for your team.

  • A focus on connection, belonging, and fostering positive relationships.

  • Openness to innovation and experimentation.

• Professional expertise

  • Strong technical analysis and business design skills in complex organizations.

  • Knowledge of financial or commodity trading; experience with ETRM systems is a plus.

  • Familiarity with large multi-linked IT systems; experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) is an advantage.

  • Understanding of software development methodologies, data analysis, and programming languages.

  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Willingness to travel when necessary.

• Languages Fluent in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
