We are looking for a Mid-Market Account Manager for our Account Management team here at Greenhouse!

As a Mid-Market Account Manager, you will own the entire customer relationship, including renewals, adoption and product optimization strategy, as well as the upselling of new products into our rapidly growing ecosystem of customers.

You will not only ensure a premium experience for our customers by understanding their business objectives, but also collaborate with our cross-functional partners to streamline workflows and communication processes within Greenhouse.

What you’ll do

  • Effectively manage a dedicated Mid-Market book of business.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted renewals and expansions to meet quota objectives.
  • Own the renewals and up-selling of new products and services into our rapidly growing ecosystem of customers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, leading product adoption efforts across your customer base and ensuring customers are deeply engaged and maximizing the value of Greenhouse.
  • Craft compelling narratives and prove customer value through comprehensive business reviews and strategic touch points.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that map out expansion and upsell opportunities as part of the broader sales organization.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate churn risks , owning resolution strategies and advising sales leadership of the ideal path forward wherever appropriate.
  • Additional projects and responsibilities as business needs require.

You should have

  • Experience in a quota-carrying role, preferably in a SaaS organization
  • Strong financial literacy and commercial acumen to drive profitable, high-impact decisions
  • Ability to adapt communication to different audiences, influence stakeholders, and tell compelling stories to achieve outcomes
  • Expertise with unpacking complex challenges and distilling them into simple, actionable solutions
  • Ability to manage a large book of business, prioritizing customers based on opportunity, risk, and growth while aligning stakeholder expectations
  • Strong discovery, negotiation and creative problem-solving skills

The national pay range for this role is $78,000.00 base pay. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.

Greenhouse provides a variety of benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, mental health resources, financial wellness benefits, and a fully paid parental leave program. For US-based employees, we offer short-term and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan and company match. U.S. based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 14 scheduled paid holidays and up to 80 hours of paid sick leave. Non-exempt employees accrue up to 20-25 days of paid vacation time annually, depending on tenure, and exempt employees have flexible paid time off (PTO).
