Job Description

ITC is a Woman Owned Small Business delivering exceptional consultation to the U.S. Government in Systems/Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Solutions, Mission Operations/INTEL Analysis, and Management Services in order to enable our customers to solve the most challenging problems. With continued growth comes opportunity, and we are currently searching for a Top-Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Mid-Level Technical Writer.

Responsibilities:

You will provide dedicated assistance in the preparation, review, revision and maintenance of technical documents to support the unit’s mission. You will write and edit technical documentation for all supported organizations activities; create documentation for operations; produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities – Standard Operating Procedures; provide data definitions and data flow documentation; and format technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources. Additional duties include tracking and monitoring tasking and utilizing automated data systems and research tools to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Poly required. (FS desired, but CCA Accepted).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Six (6) years’ experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Understanding of basic concepts (to include basic grammar concepts), ability to be responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents.
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications.
  • Ability to gather technical information and prepare written text.
  • Ability to maintain a current internal documentation library.
  • Skilled in use of multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.
  • Must understand basic concepts and write technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity.
  • Experience documenting systems, and systems of systems in accordance with systems engineering standards and practices.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

  • Must be self-starter capable of working tasks to completion without direct immediate oversight.
  • Basic understanding of SIGINT concepts and terminology.

Many factors can influence final salary including, but not limited to relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Final salary can also be influenced by a position’s geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.

The salary Range for this position is: $100- $115k
