Job Description

Mid-level DeveloperHighPoint’s professionals focus exclusively on helping government agencies and companies implement their most critically strategic initiatives. The role of Developer contributes to HighPoint by contributes to HighPoint by designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining software platforms and applications. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   
  • Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
  • Develops within CMS security, ATO, and change‑management controls.
  • Supports maintenance and enhancement of CMS QSEP applications.
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
  • Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
  • May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
  • May supervise computer programmers.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:  
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
  • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:    
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT preferred.
  • 2-8 Years of experience.
