Mid-level Business Analyst (GIS / ArcGIS Pro)

We are looking for a Mid-level Business Analyst to support the implementation of a new GIS platform based on ESRI ArcGIS Pro. The project aims to replace legacy systems and help transform the organization into a GIS-driven network company.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and end users to analyze processes, coordinate workshops, support testing activities, and ensure successful adoption of the new GIS environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct business analyses and validate requirements with stakeholders
Support the implementation of a new GIS system based on ESRI ArcGIS Pro
Develop SIT and UAT test scenarios
Participate in testing activities and analyze test results
Facilitate workshops with end users and business teams
Gather, document, and communicate feedback to project stakeholders
Coordinate communication between business and project teams
Monitor dependencies between teams, processes, and deliverables
Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
Perform process analysis and contribute to management decision-making
Ensure alignment and coherence across operational and business processes
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Minimum 4 years of experience in GIS projects, specifically with ESRI ArcGIS Pro
Experience with GISviewer Software for Business
Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings
Knowledge of business process management and optimization (BPM)
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and MS Office tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Proactive mindset with a solution-oriented approach
Dutch language proficiency at C2 level (mandatory)
Nice to Have
Experience with stakeholder management in large organizations
Experience with change management projects
Strong conceptual thinking and process/data analysis capabilities
Experience working in utility or infrastructure environments
Additional Details
Part-time role (80%)
Contract until June 2027 with possible extension
Hybrid working model with flexibility for remote work
Travel across Flanders may occasionally be required
