About the Role

We’re looking for a Java Engineer to join our team and actively contribute to building, improving, and maintaining a modern distributed system. You’ll implement backend services, enhance existing features, and ensure performance and reliability. This role offers a high degree of autonomy - you’ll own your work end-to-end, take responsibility for outcomes, and contribute to technical improvements while collaborating closely with your team and business stakeholders.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

• Work on implementation of scalable Kafka-based services that power high-available distributed system.
• Contribute across the full software lifecycle — from architecture and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and long-term support
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize systems to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability at scale
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and engineers to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and best engineering practices

Employees may be required to participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring availability outside regular working hours to respond to urgent issues as needed as per the On call policy.

 Who You Are: 

• 2+ years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Java and object-oriented design
• Solid knowledge of design patterns, system architecture, and scalability principles
• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and message-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiar with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Comfortable with automated testing (unit, integration, performance).
• Proven track record building and supporting production-grade, high-load systems
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong communicator with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
