About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented Mid Front-End WordPress Developer to join our team on an initial 3-month contract. This role has a strong view to becoming permanent for the right candidate. You’ll work closely with our design and development teams to deliver responsive, user-friendly, and scalable WordPress websites.
What You’ll Be Doing:
·Developing and maintaining WordPress websites with a strong focus on front-end performance and best practices.
·Translating design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive front-end code.
·Customising themes and templates to meet project requirements.
·Optimising sites for speed, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
·Collaborating with designers, back-end developers, and project managers.
·Troubleshooting, debugging, and improving existing codebases.
What We’re Looking For:
·2–4 years’ experience working as a front-end developer, with solid WordPress knowledge.
·Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
·Experience with modern front-end workflows
·Ability to customise WordPress themes and work with page builders when needed.
·Understanding of responsive and cross-browser / mobile compatible design.
What’s on Offer:
·Competitive contract rate 35-40k per annum (pro rata / negotiable)
·Initial 3-month contract, with the genuine potential to transition into a permanent role.
