Boeing Brazilis seeking a Mid-CareerStructuralAnalysis Engineer, reporting to the Structural Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos, office.
The Mid-Career Structural Analysis Engineerwill join the Boeing Commercial Aircraft Structures team and will develop and support Internal Structural Analysis Software that supports performing analysis of structural details, generating formal stress analysis notes and workflow improvements.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop andmaintaininternal software developed for structural analysis engineers
Develop and collect software requirements from stakeholderssuch as but not limitedtosubject matter experts,ITand end-users
Guidesoftwaredesignusingpreviousknowledge ofanalytical methods, finite element models/simulationsand other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle
Applysoftware development best practicesand stay up to date to it
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate willbe requiredto work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (ConselhoRegional deEngenhariaeAgronomia- CREA)
Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
Experience with commercial finite element modelling software used for linear FEA (MSC Nastran, MSC Patran, MSC Apex, AltairOptistruct, AltairHypermesh, ANSYS Mechanical,etc)
Experience with software programming/scripting familiarity (such as Python, Unix/Linux type batch scripting, FORTRAN, C / C++)
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Custodial role focusing on first-time quality, error prevention and ensuring integrity of internal loads data
Ability to responsively field and prioritize multiple unrelated or emergent requests, without compromising quality
Exceptional integration, data management,organizationand communication skills
High Performance Computing (HPC)
Experience with metallic and/or composite structural analysis using tools/applications
