The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) is Europe’s life sciences laboratory. We operate six sites across Europe each with its own research units, services and facilities.
At the EMBL Grenoble Site, scientists focus on both fundamental research in structural molecular biology, and on developing state-of-the art instrumentation, methods and services.
EMBL Grenoble shares the European Photon and Neutron (EPN) Science Campus with two other international organizations, the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) and the Institut Laue Langevin (ILL) as well as the French Institut de Biologie Structurale (IBS).
EMBL’s IT Services team delivers and supports IT infrastructure and services across our sites in Heidelberg, Hamburg, Grenoble, Rome and Barcelona.
The EMBL Grenoble IT Services Team provides a broad range of services, including desktop and laptop support, scientific instrument support, Windows and Linux server administration, data-collection infrastructure and scientific computing.
We are looking for an experienced, service-oriented IT Support Engineer to join our IT Services team in a desktop support role at EMBL in Grenoble. This person would continue to provide high-quality first-level and desktop support to a diverse, international user community, while also managing key Windows backend services.
