Job Description

The Microsoft Power Platform & Automation Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and deployment of low-code business solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. You will take ownership of designing, building, integrating, and deploying business applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Dataverse, Power BI, and Power Pages to automate business processes and extend Microsoft 365 capabilities.

This is a hands-on consulting and engineering role focused on delivery: translating business process requirements into production-ready low-code solutions, owning the solution lifecycle from design through deployment, and ensuring solutions are scalable, governed, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standards.

Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Architecture

• Conduct discovery workshops with business stakeholders to understand business processes, identify automation opportunities, and define solution requirements.
• Design scalable Power Platform solutions, application architectures, and Dataverse data models aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Apply Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), solution layering, reusable components, and development best practices to ensure maintainable and supportable solutions.

Power Apps & Process Automation

• Design, develop, and deploy Canvas Apps and Model-driven Apps integrated with Microsoft 365 services and line-of-business applications.
• Build Power Automate cloud flows and desktop flows (RPA) to automate business processes, approvals, and enterprise system integrations.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and external enterprise applications using standard and custom connectors.

Copilot Studio & AI Solutions

• Design and develop conversational agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI Builder to automate user interactions and business processes.
• Integrate Copilot Studio agents with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 services while grounding responses using enterprise data.
• Implement AI-powered capabilities that enhance business productivity and user experience through low-code solutions.

Data Management, Governance & Deployment

• Design and implement Dataverse data models, including tables, relationships, business rules, and security roles.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to provide business insights and operational reporting.
• Build Power Pages solutions to deliver secure external-facing business applications where required.
• Implement Power Platform governance, including Centre of Excellence (CoE), environment strategy, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies for connectors, and solution governance.
• Own the complete deployment lifecycle from solution development and testing through production deployment, operational handover, and ongoing governance.
• Produce technical design documents, implementation guides, deployment documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.

Client Advisory & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a trusted advisor by translating business process requirements into scalable Microsoft Power Platform solutions and recommending Microsoft best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Collaboration & Content, Copilot & AI, Data Security & Compliance, Endpoint & Identity, and client stakeholders to deliver integrated Microsoft business solutions.
• Conduct solution demonstrations, design workshops, deployment planning sessions, and knowledge transfer activities to ensure successful solution adoption.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Fx, Power BI, Power Pages, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform architecture, application development, and governance best practices.
• Experience designing and developing low-code business applications using Power Apps and Dataverse.
• Experience building Power Automate cloud flows, desktop flows (RPA), approval workflows, and business process automation.
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and external enterprise systems.
• Experience developing conversational agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI Builder.
• Understanding of integrating AI capabilities into business applications and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, Centre of Excellence (CoE), environment management, connector governance, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Experience implementing reusable components, managed solutions, and deployment best practices.
• Strong requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution architecture, client workshop facilitation, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Produce clear technical design documents, implementation documentation, deployment guides, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer artefacts.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building Microsoft Power Platform solutions within consulting, professional services, systems integration, or business applications environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Certifications (Preferred) - Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200), Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate (PL-100), Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900)
• Must be fluent in English.
• Working proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
• Location : MENA region, with flexibility to support client engagements across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, and Sudan.
• Engagement: Full-time, with ownership of Microsoft Power Platform, business automation, and low-code solution deployments across enterprise and public sector clients.
