SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Modern Work Engineer (ACE Modern Work) specializing in Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity, security, Modern Work implementation, and advanced technical troubleshooting . This is a hands-on engineering role focused on implementing, supporting, and optimizing Modern Work environments. The ideal candidate should demonstrate experience beyond basic M365 administration or service desk support and be capable of independently handling technical implementations, escalations, and modernization projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Modern Work experience , particularly across Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Windows Autopilot, Defender, and PowerShell . These areas closely align with the existing Marco - Microsoft Modern Work Engineer.docx, which emphasizes Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Autopilot, PowerShell, implementation, troubleshooting, and technical escalation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Microsoft Modern Work Solutions Design, implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Modern Work solutions . Administer Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive . Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID , including authentication, users, groups, Conditional Access, MFA, and identity controls. Design and administer Microsoft Intune environments. Configure: Device enrollment Configuration profiles Compliance policies Application deployment Endpoint security policies Device lifecycle management Implement and troubleshoot Windows Autopilot . Support Microsoft Defender and endpoint security solutions . Utilize PowerShell for automation, administration, reporting, and troubleshooting. Endpoint & Identity Modernization Modernize traditional endpoint-management environments using Microsoft Intune . Implement Entra ID Join and Hybrid Entra ID Join . Deploy Windows Autopilot for modern endpoint provisioning. Configure Conditional Access, MFA, authentication, and identity security controls . Support hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments. Troubleshoot complex endpoint, authentication, application deployment, device compliance, and identity issues. Advanced Support & Project Delivery Deliver Microsoft Modern Work implementations and modernization projects. Provide advanced technical escalation support for Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and endpoints. Conduct root cause analysis. Develop permanent remediation for recurring or complex technical issues. Review existing client environments and identify opportunities to improve security, performance, manageability, and user experience. Develop technical documentation, configuration standards, implementation guides, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support teams. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • MSP, consulting, or professional services experience. • Microsoft Purview experience. • Microsoft Copilot implementation/readiness experience. • Defender for Endpoint experience. • Certifications such as: o MD-102 o MS-102 o SC-300 o SC-100 JOB REQUIREMENTS • Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement. • Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
