Job Description

The AI Engineer (Microsoft Ecosystem) is responsible for designing, building, and scaling AI powered solutions within the Microsoft environment. This role focuses on enabling practical, secure, and governed AI adoption across the enterprise by leveraging Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the Power Platform. The position works closely with IT and business teams to translate real business‑ needs into scalable AI solutions embedded in everyday Microsoft workflows.

Essential Job Functions

  • Design, develop, and maintain AI powered‑ solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio
  • Build and operate custom AI agents and copilots integrated into Microsoft 365 workloads
  • Develop AI driven‑ automations and integrations across Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, and enterprise systems
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to identify use cases and deliver production ready‑ AI solutions
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with security, privacy, compliance, and governance requirements within the Microsoft environment
  • Contribute to defining enterprise AI standards, reusable patterns, and best practices
  • Support ongoing improvement, monitoring, and scaling of AI solutions in production environments

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an AI Engineer, AI Developer, or similar role within a Microsoft based‑ environment
  • Hands‑on experience with:
    • Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio
    • Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, connectors)
  • Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms and data sources
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, and governance concepts in Microsoft environments
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to explain AI concepts to non‑technical audiences

Nice to Have

  • Experience building or scaling enterprise AI agents or copilots
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other enterprise systems integrated with Microsoft platforms
  • Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, Copilot, or Power Platform
  • Experience contributing to AI governance frameworks, platform enablement, or center of‑ ‑excellence models
  • Exposure to automation, low code/no ‑code‑ solutions, or AI enablement programs at scale

Job Expectations

  • Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including the ability to regularly support a later schedule (e.g., up to 11:00 PM IST) to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across U.S. time zones.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed to support critical IT operations and ensure business continuity.
  • Provide assistance and knowledge-sharing to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Be adaptable and ready to take on additional responsibilities or cross-functional tasks as business needs to evolve.
